Sherrie Rollins Westin has been Executive Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Research for Sesame Workshop since 1998. She was previously Executive Vice President for, Network Communications at the ABC television network. Westin has worked in the public sector as well. As Assistant to the President for Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs, she was one of the highest-ranking women in the first Bush Administration. She also served as First Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
